01Why we exist
There are never enough case managers.
Case managers make a real difference after a disaster. But they’re hired one disaster at a time, and the money runs out.
Most start weeks or months late. So most survivors who ask for help never get one.
Nobody turned them away. There just wasn’t anyone to assign.

What we don’t do.
We don’t decide who qualifies.
Resource providers do. We screen and refer.
We don’t replace case managers.
We help the people who never get one.
We don’t handle insurance claims.
That’s licensed work. We track where your claim stands.
We don’t run the recovery.
The recovery group does. We do the legwork.
